La narración oral como patrimonio inmaterial en Chile: alcances y limitaciones.
Resumen
En la actualidad chilena se presencia un auge las iniciativas y talleres relacionados al arte de contar historias, con narradores profesionales, instrumentales y tradicionales. Sin embargo muchas veces la práctica se restringe al simple hecho de relatar sin tener consciencia de toda la responsabilidad social y cultural que trae consigo; sobre todo con respecto a la memoria e identidad que transmitimos. Debido a este compromiso resulta mínimo formarnos de manera continua y conocer nuestro rol en la conservación de nuestra identidad oral. En este ensayo, y de acuerdo a mi experiencia como narradora, recopiladora y formadora, refiero algunos aspectos claves al momento de trabajar en la difusión y salvaguardia de la oralidad como patrimonio de todos y todas.
Abstract
At present Chilean is witnessing a boom in initiatives and workshops related to the art of storytelling with professional, instrumental and traditional narrators. However, often the practice is restricted to the simple fact of describing without being aware of all the social and cultural responsibility it brings; Especially with respect to the memory and identity that we transmit. Due to this commitment it is necessary to train ourselves in a continuous way and to acknowledge our role in the preservation of our oral identity. In this essay, and according to my experience as a narrator, compiler and trainer, I mention some key aspects when working in the diffusion and protection of orality as a patrimony of all.
